Seven months ago then fnatic player Rob Mclean one of the best PES players in the UK was banned for cheating on PESRankings. Rob apparently was in a match and 4-0 up when his opponent disconnected. As supposed to following normal procedure Rob entered in a probably score of 5-1 and a fake screenshot. This was noticed and in what seemed to be a huge overeaction he was banned for a year and disqualified from the play.com £50,000 tournament. Rob will be unbanned next May. At the time Rob invited news writers to contact him to clear his name however fnatic banned Rob from talking to any news writers and removed him from there roster. This is most revealed by the following quote from SK|Gaming scene news writer 'drinn' :

 

 

We did not have enough information of this cheating issue at that time, when writing the news piece from the given sources. Other sites used same sources with the same content too, so we weren't the only ones.

I was about to write a defending article of this issue, in plan to clean McLean's reputation as Konami & co. are hiding something important (they know they did wrong), but today I got a message from Rob that he was asked not to talk to SK Gaming (sent the questions yesterday). This request came most likely from Fnatic's lead.

All this means we can't hear the real story. You can blame Fnatic, Konami & co, or who ever asked him not to talk to us.

 

However Rob's contract with fnatic has ended and in this exclusive we bring you Rob Mcleans first interview since the ban. Rob finally reveals his views on what happened and what his future plans in PES are.
