ephix become infused.cod4
Infused UK ltd. is proud to announce ephix as the new cod4 team to represent the 'infused' brand. Following the fragmentation of the previous line-up since SGL summer slam it is both promising and exciting to be working with some fresh faces in the form of a stable well known line-up full of determination and potential.
We look forward to showing off the new line-up at the major summer LANs including AEF, TEX and i34.
Adam 'Adz' Jessop, Infused General Manager, had the following to say:
"After the previous Infused CoD4 team having a successful SGL Summer Slam event it became apparent that certain line-up changes were going to have to be made. Sadly these did not work out in practice. Several players have gone their own way and this prompted Infused to look for a new line-up to represent us at the upcoming summer lans and for the foreseeable future. It gives me great pleasure to welcome the old ephix CoD4 squad to Infused. They have shown great professionalism and a desire to reach the top that matches our own. We look forward to working with them closely and giving them the opportunity to do the Infused name proud"
The new infused.cod4 line-up:
Dan 'crack' Sneddon (team manager)
Will 'will' Nye
Adam 'vanner' Vanner
Kez 'brokN' Holmes
Tim 'revoltz' Denton
Gertjan 'V1oqor' Dordmond
Chris 'chenson' Henson (inactive)
A statement from Dan ‘crack’ Sneddon, Team Manager:
“The announcement stating that ephix was to fold as an organisation was somewhat bittersweet, bitter due to our loss of an organisation but sweet as it gave us the opportunity to re-address our standing within the COD4 scene. As an under-rated team I feel we got a substantial amount of interest regarding our position and plans for the future but as time moved on it became more and more obvious that we had a clear choice to make. We plan to offer Infused the stability and maturity they require from the COD4 scene and I’d personally like to thank them for the work they put in presenting and negotiating with me over the past week or so. Finally, thanks to everyone who showed support and hope to see you all in Antwerp!”
A statement from Tim ‘revoltz’ Denton:
“With the announcement a few weeks ago that team ephix would cease to exist as an organisation, we have received numerous offers interested in our services for the summer and the foreseeable future. Infused stood out amongst the crowd in both professionalism and support, and I would like to thank all of the parties for their interest in the team - however in the end the choice was not a difficult one. We hope that we can represent an organisation on the level of Infused with the right maturity and dedication that they deserve. We have planned attendances for the big three in the summer, and hopefully every major European event afterwards. Thanks for everybody who has stuck by us, and see you in Belgium!”
